Hi.
Looking from a consumer perspective the domains are slightly too technical to remember if you're not tech savvy. So you're average person may find it difficult to remember your domain...unless of course the developer advertised it heavily.

Also set top box maybe slightly too broad as there are various names out there, digi box, digital box, sky box, cable box, free to air box, freeview box, satellite box etc but I can see where you're coming from.

Where would be your preferred starting market? TVs in the UK come with build in freeview now, or even freesat...not sure what the market is like in the US?

actually these are small domain names 4KSTB is full generic term and everyone is aware of 4k technology. so stb is good instead of setup box.

4kSTB.com and UHDSTB.com
these two are full generic terms with short forms.....no one domain name can be smaller than that with such a good expressive format.
stb maker companies can use these two domain name for making stb or for stock management website.

actually these two ideas came in mind because i redevolped a domain name
STBHD.com
a good stb company in china was having this domain name but they left then i redevelope it. You can see all stb information is available there.

rest is GBport.com
A networking company can use the gbport,com again it is full expressive domain name.
and weblyser.com is branded domain name.....it express itself brandability.

OK, I see. Do you think manufacturers are interested in domain names? Do they sell STBs direct to the public themselves? Domain name purchases are usually associated with marketing to consumers, and manufacturers may not do that themselves.

how can manufactures directly sell the stbs to subscribers directly????

they gives stbs directly to the Cable companies like DEN networks Ltd.,Hathways cable, Airtel,broadcomm
etc.
so this kind of domain name can have stb makers like KAON and Homecast etc. or new one companies like setupbox.com

specially stb makers...i hope you got my point
